ACCOMMODATION, EQUIPMENT,TRANSPORTATION

All the accommodation, equipment and means of transportation placed at the disposal of our visitors is first class and is properly maintained at all times for your complete safety.

LODGING AND FISHING CAMPS

All our camps site has been constructed on the bank of the Caniapiscau River and tributaries. Main camps, for client, can accommodate eight (8) anglers.

There are four (4) bedrooms (double occupancy) and a vast living room whose hearth has witness to many great stories about fishes that were finally vanquished, where large windows give the impression of being outdoors. A fireplace with a woodstove complete the atmosphere.

Of course, hot water, showers and toilets are part of your comfort. AIl buildings are lit by propane gas in order to preserve the charm and tranquility of the site in contrast of an electric generator's noise.

Near the cabin a wooden walkway Ieads to the dining room cabin where meals are served. Right next to this are the camp-staff's cabins and the service buildings for the freezer, ice and wood for the stoves.

MEALS

On each fishing site you are offered meals in the dining room. Fresh food of excellent quality enables you to appreciate the abilities of our chefs who can also prepare your catch at your convenience.

Moreover, when long excursions do not allow you to return to camp for noon, the chef will prepare a lunch for the group. Alternatively your guide can give you the opportunity to enjoy freshly caught fish by cooking it right on the spot, as he always carries appropriate equipment.

COMMUNICATIONS

There is no telephone at the fishing camps.

On the other hand, for your safety, aIl our camps are equipped with an HF radio station in contact with the floatplane base at Wabush; frequency 5490.

In case of an emergency your family can communicate by telephone with our office in Wabush at (709) 944-2395 and we will do what is necessary.

Satellite telephone available at camp.

BREAKFAST

Served, in dining room, between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM

NOON LUNCH

Considering the great distance between the fishing sites and the base Camp, usually your guide will prepare you a shore lunch at specific equiped place on the shore of the river.

What a good oportunity to taste a meal with a fresh fish. This stop is schedule between noon to 1:30PM.

Customer who dont want to eat fish must advise the cook, one day in advance, So that he can prepare you a lunch that you will bring with you the next day on your fishing excursion.

EVENING MEAL

Served in dining room between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
