We wish to remind you that fishes caught at Club Chambeaux are trophy calibre. Fishing rods and reels should therefore be robust and you should bring duplicates. Your guide will supply a suitable landing-net. (see section of recommandation)

RECOMMANDED EQUIPMENT TO BRING, FOR YOUR FISHING TRIP

You must bring a SLEEPINGBAG light and comfortable from 320F. In Nortnern Quebec the nights are cool even in the summer and when the stove goes out in the early hours of the morning,you will appreciate this important item. We supply sheets and blanket, but at times it is not adequate, especialy when the night are cold. We also supply pillow and pillow case as well as towels and wash towels.

Cansidering the variations in temperature, both, warm clothes and Iight clothes wilI be required. Clothes that are weII-fitting at the neck and wrist are the most efficient against bugs ans black-flies, especialy in July. A two piece rain suit, a pair of gloves as weIl as a cap or hat.

We recommend that you take Weader boots or Hip boots (bring repair kit for boots), and a pair of Iight shoes for around camp.

ACCESSORIES

Insect repellent cantaining 90 ta 99 % of Deet (Muskol), or Mosquito's proof jacket. Repair kit to repair rubber boots, personnal first-aid kit and medication (if necessary) solar-cream, filtering sunglasses, lypsil for lip, video camera with extra battery.

WINE, BEER, ALCOOL, SOFT DRINKS AND SNACKS

We supply two (2) glasses of wine for the evening meals and soft drink for your Shore-lunch. All other beverage, like beer, alcool, soft drink and snacks are not available at camp. If you want some you have to buy it before your departure with the bush-plane from the town.

FISHING TACKLES RECOMMANDED

LIGHT CAST AND LURES

We recommend that you use a monofilament of good quality, 8 to 12 lb test, according to your experience of river fishing. A steel leader is not necessary, unless you are fishing for Pike. We also recommend that you use a good quality swivel (with ball-bearings).

We suggest that you carry in your tackle -box, 2 or 3 of each lures, with triple or single hook, listed below:

• Dare-Devil, red and white, size 1 to 3

• Meps, white with red dots - black with orange dots - silver with blue dots. Size 1 to 3

• Nebco Pixies, with orange center or blue center or pink center. Size 1 to 3

• Cleo-Littie, the one with a woman pictures on back, blue or orange or red.Size 1 to 3

• Crocodile or Aligator, weavy. Size 1 to 3

• Gator, fluorescent orange or green. Size 1 to 4

• Veltic, silver and red, or goid and red. Size 1 to 3

• Trophy (Wablers), mostly for Lake Trout. Size, maximum 4 inches

• Cyclops, for lake trout, ail fluorescent colors. Size 1 ta 5 inches

• Minnow type Rapala, floating jointed or straight, fluorescent orange or blue. 4'' to 6''

• Worms or night crawler may be used but are not necessarely more productive

FLY FISHING

We recommend a good quality rod with floating line equiped with a 15 lb (maximum) leader. Here s a list of fly wich have given us good resuit to this date.

FISHING LICENSE

The regular Quebec fishing licences Is necessary and available at Club Chambeaux office, located In the bush plane base. Ask for one before your flight departure to your camp.
