For your hunting trip: Departure from Montreal or Wabush ?

From Montreal

Different options are available to travel to Quebec's Great Northern region to hunt caribou.

Obviously, the simplest and fastest method is to take our chartered flight from Montreal which will bring you to Schefferville in less than 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The type of aircraft which we use is a modern CONVAIR-580, equipped with two turbo propellers for maximum trustworthiness and security. (See our links section for hyperlink to Nolinor aviation web site.)

On board, a professional hostess will provide you with snacks and beverages.

Another advantage is that the large capacity of this airplane allows us to transport your game and the antlers on the same flight as you will be taking on you return to Montreal.

Of course, while on your vehicules, complementary parking lots, all of which have a 24 hrs security service for added protection.

Furthermore, we also include a shuttle service between the parking area and the airport at Dorval.

Finally, in Montreal, a Club Chambeaux representative will be present to welcome and assist you if necessary, both upon your departure and return.

From Wabush

If you are one of those individuals who has a little extra time or if you simply want to save about $500 on your hunting trip, one interesting option would be to drive to the town of Wabush.

From Wabush, one of our chartered planes will transport you to Schefferville.

Ideally, we would recommend that you travel in groupe of three individuals per vehicule so as to share the costs and driving responsabilities.

Along the way there will be numerous service stations, lodging and restaurants.

As well, you will find this to be an exceptionnaly scenic route, including one of the most important hydro electric dams in the world (Manic 5).

The road will also take you along the shore of the vast Manicouagan reservoir, which was created by the dam and a crater left by the immense meteor which fell in the area many years ago.

You will also see the remains of the former mining town Gagnonville, as well as some of the richest variety of flora and fauna in this part of the province of Quebec.

Lastly, do not worry about the safety of your meat upon your return trip, because we will be happy to share with you a number of invaluable tricks which will protect it properly.
